You will help design the architecture, build production-ready systems, and improve the platform based on real business needs.\nThis is a high-ownership role for someone who can propose solutions, make technical decisions, and take projects from idea to production.\nKey Responsibilities\nData & Platform Development\nBuild and maintain a centralized data warehouse using SQL and modern data tools.\nDevelop a shared metrics layer so business metrics are consistently defined across dashboards.\nBuild data pipelines, models, monitoring, and automated reporting.\nConnect data from multiple business systems into a centralized platform.\nAPI Integrations & Automation\nBuild and maintain REST API and webhook integrations with platforms such as ServiceTitan, Dialpad, Brex, Ramp, QuickBooks Online, payroll, Google Ads, and other business systems.\nDevelop event-driven automations that monitor business processes and trigger alerts when requirements are missed.\nBuild automated checks and scorecards for operations, payroll, accounting, and marketing.\nAI & LLM Development\nBuild AI-powered assistants that can answer business questions using company data.\nDevelop retrieval, text-to-SQL, semantic layers, agents, and tool-use workflows.\nDesign prompts, evaluations, guardrails, and systems that control AI cost and latency.\nBuild AI applications that are reliable enough for real users and business operations.\nDashboards & Web Applications\nBuild dashboards for operations, sales, finance, marketing, and customer service.\nDevelop modern web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and React or similar technologies.\nBuild backend services using Node.js or Python.\nSupport future customer-facing applications for booking, payments, invoices, job photos, and service history.\nSecurity & Infrastructure\nImplement secure authentication, OAuth/SSO, role-based access, secrets management, and audit logging.\nFollow least-privilege access and appropriate PII handling practices.\nSupport CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and production reliability.\nBuild systems that are properly documented and supported with runbooks.\nRequired Experience & Skills\n5+ years of professional full-stack development experience with production systems.\n2+ years of experience building data pipelines, data warehouses, and LLM-powered applications.\nStrong experience with SQL and cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL.\nExperience with dbt or equivalent data modeling tools, orchestration, and monitoring.\nStrong experience building REST APIs and webhook integrations.\nHands-on experience with AI/LLM applications, including agents, tool use, text-to-SQL, retrieval, and evaluation.\nStrong TypeScript/JavaScript and React or similar frontend experience.\nExperience with Node.js or Python backend services.\nExperience with serverless or edge technologies; Cloudflare Workers is a plus.\nExperience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.\nStrong understanding of application security, authentication, permissions, secrets, and audit logging.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of architecture and technical decisions.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating with ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, or similar field-service platforms.\nExperience with React Native or Flutter.\nExperience working with business SaaS integrations at scale.\nExperience handling customer data and building systems with SOC 2-style security controls.\nExperience building AI assistants used by real business users.\nWhat Makes You a Strong Fit\nYou can design the architecture, not just implement assigned tickets.\nYou build production-ready systems that are monitored, documented, and maintainable.\nYou understand how technology connects to business metrics and outcomes.\nYou can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nYou take ownership from planning through deployment and ongoing improvement.\nYou are comfortable working remotely with async communication and regular demos.\nWorking Style\nYou will work remotely with at least 4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Pacific Time.
