You’ll own features across the frontend, backend, data, billing, integrations, and AI capabilities while working closely with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.\nThis role is ideal for someone who can move quickly, make sound technical decisions independently, and consistently ship polished, production-ready work.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Development\nBuild and iterate on Sergio using Next.js App Router, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.\nDevelop responsive, production-ready features and screens deployed through Vercel.\nTurn product requirements and rough mockups into polished user experiences.\nBackend & Data Architecture\nDesign and maintain multi-tenant data structures using Supabase and PostgreSQL.\nImplement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) to properly isolate customer data.\nManage authentication flows and backend data architecture.\nBilling & Integrations\nOwn the Stripe billing integration, including subscriptions, webhooks, plan management, and edge cases.\nBuild and maintain reliable SMS and email delivery pipelines.\nDevelop and maintain third-party integrations as the product evolves.\nAI & LLM Development\nBuild AI-powered product features using the Anthropic API or comparable LLM APIs.\nWork hands-on with prompt design, response handling, and LLM integration.\nEnsure AI-generated outputs are useful, reliable, and naturally integrated into the product experience.\nUI/UX & Frontend Quality\nBuild polished, responsive interfaces from rough mockups without requiring constant designer involvement.\nApply strong UX/UI judgment across components and user flows.\nMaintain a high standard of usability and visual quality.\nAI-Assisted Development\nWork daily with AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor.\nReview AI-generated code critically and identify errors, security issues, and architectural problems.\nGuide AI tools toward production-quality implementations rather than relying on them blindly.\nTesting & Delivery\nWrite Playwright or comparable end-to-end tests for critical product flows.\nShip small, focused changes to the development branch consistently.\nCommunicate progress, decisions, blockers, and technical reasoning clearly through async written updates.\nRequired Experience & Skills\nSenior-level experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in production.\nStrong hands-on expertise with Next.js App Router and TypeScript.\nExperience with Supabase or another PostgreSQL-backed platform.\nStrong understanding of multi-tenant data modeling and Row-Level Security.\nExperience integrating Stripe subscription billing, including webhooks and edge cases.\nHands-on experience using LLM APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent in a real product.\nExperience with Playwright or comparable end-to-end testing frameworks.\nStrong ability to build polished, responsive UIs using Tailwind CSS or a similar utility-first framework.\nComfortable working with AI coding agents as part of a daily development workflow.\nStrong code-review judgment and ability to identify and correct AI-generated code issues.\nStrong written communication and ability to work effectively in an async environment.\nTypical Day\nYou’ll start by reviewing work generated by Claude Code or Cursor, validating it against the product requirements and existing codebase before merging anything. You may work on a focused feature such as a Stripe webhook, Supabase RLS policy, or a new Sergio dashboard screen, while writing tests and shipping a working change to the development branch.\nAt least four hours of your day will overlap with U.S. Eastern Time for team communication, decisions, and collaboration.
