You’ll work directly with live network infrastructure across fiber, fixed wireless, bonded WAN, Starlink, and SD-WAN deployments, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and maintaining reliable, high-availability services.\nYou’ll work hands-on with technologies including MikroTik RouterOS, Peplink SpeedFusion, BGP, OSPF, Cambium, Ubiquiti, Siklu, Aviat, and enterprise wireless infrastructure.\nThis role is particularly well suited to someone with hands-on ISP, WISP, FTTH, or MSP experience who is comfortable troubleshooting production networks while communicating directly with customers.\nWhat You’ll Own\nCustomer Network Support & Troubleshooting\nDiagnose customer issues involving:\nConnectivity and outages\nLatency and packet loss\nRouting instability\nVoIP and call-quality problems\nWAN and failover performance\nTroubleshoot bonded WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, VLAN, and wireless connectivity issues.\nSupport routers, firewalls, and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).\nInvestigate issues across multiple layers rather than simply escalating tickets.\nDocument troubleshooting steps, root causes, and configuration changes.\nCommunicate technical findings clearly to business customers.\nAdvise customers on redundancy, failover, and network optimization.\nParticipate in rotating after-hours emergency support.\nISP Network Operations\nMonitor and maintain:\nEdge routing infrastructure\nWireless backhaul systems\nBonded WAN infrastructure\nCore ISP services\nProvision and configure customer network deployments.\nConfigure:\nRouters\nVLANs\nFirewall rules\nNAT\nQoS\nVPNs\nDiagnose BGP and OSPF routing issues, routing loops, WAN instability, and failover events.\nMaintain configuration backups, firmware updates, IP documentation, and network hardening standards.\nMikroTik, Peplink & SD-WAN\nConfigure and troubleshoot MikroTik RouterOS environments.\nSupport Peplink SpeedFusion and InControl2.\nTroubleshoot multi-WAN bonding and failover behavior.\nSupport hybrid connectivity involving:\nFiber\nFixed wireless\nStarlink\n5G\nTerrestrial WAN connections\nOptimize redundancy and high-availability configurations.\nFixed Wireless & Backhaul Infrastructure\nSupport fixed wireless environments using:\nCambium\nUbiquiti\nPTP/PMP architectures\nWork with high-capacity wireless backhaul technologies including:\nSiklu\nAviat\nmmWave infrastructure\nSupport tower deployments, backhaul upgrades, and infrastructure expansion.\nTroubleshoot signal, connectivity, capacity, and backhaul performance issues.\nVoIP & QoS\nTroubleshoot SIP and VoIP quality issues.\nDiagnose network conditions affecting voice traffic.\nConfigure and optimize QoS policies.\nPrioritize latency-sensitive traffic appropriately.\nHelp maintain consistent voice quality across multi-WAN environments.\nDocumentation & Configuration Management\nMaintain accurate:\nNetwork diagrams\nIP documentation\nDevice configurations\nTroubleshooting records\nConfiguration backups\nDocument root-cause findings and remediation steps.\nKeep infrastructure documentation current following network changes.\nHelp reduce repeat incidents through accurate documentation and preventative improvements.\nTechnical Environment\nYou may work across:\nRouting & Networking\nMikroTik
