You’ll work closely with finance, operations, compliance, IT, legal, and executive teams to strengthen governance and support informed business decisions.\nWhat You’ll Do\nRisk Identification & Assessment\nConduct enterprise-wide risk assessments across financial, operational, compliance, cyber, and strategic risks.\nIdentify emerging risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps.\nMaintain risk registers and track remediation efforts.\nRecommend practical risk mitigation strategies.\nRisk Analysis & Modeling\nBuild and maintain quantitative risk models using SQL, Excel, Python, R, SAS, or similar tools.\nPerform stress testing, scenario analysis, and forecasting.\nAnalyze trends, incidents, and operational risks.\nSupport data-driven risk management decisions.\nCompliance & Controls\nMonitor compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.\nSupport internal and external audits.\nTest and validate internal controls.\nEnsure documentation remains audit-ready.\nReporting & Dashboards\nDevelop dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.\nPrepare reports highlighting key risks, trends, and recommendations.\nPresent findings to leadership and governance teams.\nTranslate complex risk data into clear business insights.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with finance, operations, compliance, legal, IT, and business teams.\nSupport governance initiatives and policy improvements.\nPromote risk awareness across the organization.\nRequired Experience & Skills\n3+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, governance, or financial analysis.\nStrong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills.\nExperience with GRC platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow, LogicManager, or similar.\nFamiliarity with enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nNice to Have\nFRM, CFA, CPA, CCEP, CRISC, or related certifications.\nExperience with VaR, stress testing, Monte Carlo simulations, or operational risk analysis.\nBackground in financial services, fintech, healthcare, SaaS, or insurance.\nExperience supporting executive or board-level reporting.\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.\nExposure to cyber risk, vendor risk, or enterprise governance programs.\nWhat a Typical Day Looks Like\nReview dashboards and identify emerging risks.\nRun quantitative models and scenario analyses.\nUpdate risk registers and monitor remediation efforts.\nPerform control testing and compliance reviews.\nPrepare reports for leadership and governance committees.\nCollaborate with business teams to improve risk management practices.\nIn short: You’ll identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks while helping leadership make informed, risk-aware decisions.\nKey Metrics for Success\nTimely and accurate risk reporting.\nControls tested and validated on schedule.\nReduction in unresolved or repeat incidents.\nAudit readiness and regulatory compliance.\nHigh-quality executive reporting and documentation.\nEarly identification and mitigation of emerging risks.\nInterview Process\nApplication Review\n Spark Hire Intro Video (3-5 minutes)\nPractical Assessment (Risk Analysis or Reporting Scenario)\nClient Interview\nOffer & Onboarding\nWhat Happens After You Apply\nAfter submitting your application, you’ll receive an email invitation from Spark Hire to record a short 3-5 minute Intro Video.
