accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.\nThis is a hands-on accounting role for someone who understands GAAP, accrual accounting, NetSuite, and full-cycle accounting and can maintain accurate, audit-ready financials while improving processes as the business grows.\nYou’ll work closely with finance leadership, FP&A, operations, and junior accounting team members.\nWhat You’ll Own\nMonth-End Close & General Ledger\nLead monthly and quarterly close activities\nPrepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions\nMaintain trial balances, close checklists, and supporting schedules\nTarget month-end close completion within 5-7 business days\nReconciliations & Accounting Operations\nReconcile cash, AR, AP, deferred revenue, inventory, and fixed assets\nInvestigate discrepancies and resolve accounting issues\nMaintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records\nEnsure appropriate accounting treatment under U.S. GAAP\nFinancial Reporting\nPrepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements\nAnalyze budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual performance\nInvestigate material variances and provide clear commentary\nSupport leadership and executive reporting\nAudit, Compliance & Controls\nPrepare PBC schedules and documentation for external audits\nSupport tax and compliance requirements\nMaintain strong accounting controls and documentation\nEnsure financial records remain audit-ready\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nIdentify inefficient or manual accounting workflows\nImprove reconciliations, reporting, and close processes\nSupport ERP optimization and accounting automation\nMaintain and improve accounting SOPs\nTeam Collaboration\nReview work completed by junior accountants and bookkeepers\nSupport and mentor team members on reconciliations and accounting treatment\nCollaborate with FP&A, operations, sales, and leadership\nRequirements\n4-5+ years of progressive accounting experience\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting\nHands-on experience with NetSuite; experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP is also valuable\nProven month-end close and reconciliation experience\nStrong financial statement preparation skills\nAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and financial analysis\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability\nExcellent written and verbal English communication\nComfortable working remotely with U.S.-based teams\nNice to Have\nCPA or ACCA\nMulti-entity accounting experience\nForeign currency accounting exposure\nSaaS, real estate, or
