Multi-Entity Accounting & Financial Reporting\nFull-Time | Remote | U.S. Business Hours\nAbout the Role\nAt Pavago, one of our clients - a rapidly growing U.S. plumbing and home services company - is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to own month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls across multiple entities.\nThe company is scaling from $20M+ toward $50M+ in annual revenue, making this a high-impact role focused on building accurate, scalable, and private equity-ready accounting processes.\nReporting to the VP of Accounting, you’ll have significant ownership and a clear growth path toward Corporate Accounting Manager.\nWhat You’ll Own\nMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting\nOwn the full month-end close across multiple entities and locations\nPrepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules\nManage P&L reporting by business unit\nInvestigate variances and unusual financial trends\nMaintain reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP\nGeneral Ledger & Reconciliations\nPerform and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations\nMaintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting schedules\nComplete balance sheet tie-outs\nIdentify and resolve accounting discrepancies quickly\nAR & Payroll Analysis\nOversee accounts receivable and outstanding balances\nReview weekly multi-location payroll reports\nAnalyze payroll, labor costs, trends, and discrepancies\nSupport accurate financial planning and reporting\nAudit, Controls & Process Improvement\nSupport internal and external audits across revenue, AR, inventory, fixed assets, AP, debt, equity, and payroll\nPrepare audit schedules and supporting documentation\nEvaluate and test internal controls\nIdentify financial risks and potential misstatements\nBuild stronger, more scalable accounting processes as the company grows\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\nProven ownership of the full month-end close\nStrong multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience\nExpert-level QuickBooks Online proficiency\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP\nExperience preparing financial statements and P&L reports\nStrong general ledger and balance sheet reconciliation experience\nExperience reviewing accounts receivable and payroll\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills\nComfortable working independently during U.S. business hours\nNice to Have\nCPA or equivalent accounting qualification\nPublic accounting or external audit experience\nInternal controls and audit testing experience\nPrivate equity-backed or high-growth company experience\nConstruction, plumbing, HVAC, home services, or field-service industry experience\nWhat Success Looks Like\nAccurate and timely month-end closes\nReliable financial statements across all entities\nClean balance sheet and GL reconciliations\nStrong audit readiness and internal controls\nAccurate AR and payroll reporting\nFewer accounting discrepancies and reporting issues\nScalable processes that support continued company growth\nWhy This Role Stands Out\nHigh ownership over a growing multi-entity accounting function\nDirect exposure to the VP of Accounting and company leadership\nHelp build a PE-ready accounting infrastructure\nJoin a business scaling toward $50M+ revenue\nClear growth path into a Corporate Accounting Manager role\nFully remote opportunity\nInterview Process\nInitial Recruiter Screening\nSpark Hire Intro Video\nClient Interview\nOffer & Onboarding\nWhat Happens After You Apply\nQualified candidates will receive a Spark Hire invitation to complete a short Intro Video.
