The ideal candidate has strong Shopify development expertise, excellent front-end development skills, and a keen understanding of eCommerce user experience and brand presentation.\nResponsibilities\nShopify Store Development\n Build custom Shopify storefronts from scratch using client branding and design assets. \n Customize Shopify themes to create premium, conversion-focused online stores. \n Configure product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store settings. \n Ensure all storefronts are responsive, fast-loading, and optimized for mobile devices. \nWebsite Redesign & Optimization\n Lead the complete redesign and rebrand of the company's primary Shopify website. \n Improve user experience, site navigation, and overall conversion performance. \n Implement modern design standards while maintaining brand consistency. \n Optimize website speed, usability, and accessibility across all devices. \nTheme Customization & Development\n Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. \n Implement advanced store functionality through custom development where needed. \n Configure access controls, gated collections, gift codes, and purchase restrictions using Shopify apps or custom logic. \n Integrate third-party Shopify applications to extend store functionality. \nCollaboration & Project Management\n Collaborate with designers to translate Figma designs into fully functional Shopify stores. \n Work closely with internal teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines. \n Manage multiple Shopify builds simultaneously while maintaining high quality. \n Communicate project progress and blockers through Slack and other collaboration tools. \nWhat Makes You a Perfect Fit\n You enjoy building teams. \nRequired Experience & Skills\nMust-Haves\n 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience. \n Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language. \n Advanced front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. \n Experience building custom Shopify themes or performing extensive theme customization. \n Proven experience leading complete website redesigns or rebranding projects. \n Strong understanding of eCommerce UX, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and responsive design principles. \n Experience managing product catalogs, collections, inventory, and store configurations. \n Portfolio showcasing modern, high-quality Shopify storefronts. \n Experience working with Slack, Google Workspace, and asynchronous communication. \n Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. \nNice-to-Haves\n Experience with Shopify Plus, including Checkout Extensibility and Scripts. \n Experience using Shopify apps such as Locksmith, Bold Custom Pricing, gifting, loyalty, or fulfillment solutions. \n Ability to translate Figma designs into fully functional Shopify websites. \n Strong understanding of branding, visual hierarchy, and modern UI/UX design. \n Experience building B2B eCommerce, corporate gifting, or branded merchandise stores. \nTypical Day\n Building and customizing Shopify storefronts for multiple clients. \n Developing and optimizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. \n Collaborating with designers to implement new layouts and features. \n Configuring products, collections, and third-party Shopify
