You’ll receive footage, assets, and creative direction and be responsible for turning them into refined, brand-aligned Reels and short-form videos.\nWe’re specifically looking for someone whose work feels premium, intentional, and professionally produced-not the typical influencer or template-driven CapCut aesthetic.\nWhat You’ll Own\nShort-Form Video Editing\nEdit raw footage into polished Reels and short-form videos\nCreate strong pacing and natural visual flow\nSelect the strongest footage and structure edits effectively\nTrim and sequence clips with attention to rhythm and storytelling\nIncorporate existing brand assets into finished videos\nPrepare final videos for social platforms and short-form placements\nPremium Visual Execution\nMaintain a sophisticated, premium visual aesthetic\nApply professional color correction and color grading\nEnsure transitions and effects complement rather than overpower the content\nMaintain consistency with existing brand direction\nProduce clean, intentional edits rather than heavily templated social content\nSound & Music\nSelect music that complements the brand and creative direction\nEdit audio for clean, professional output\nBalance dialogue, music, and other audio elements appropriately\nUse sound intentionally to improve pacing and overall production quality\nCreative Production\nWork from provided footage, assets, and creative direction\nTurn existing materials into finished, publication-ready content\nIncorporate feedback efficiently\nManage multiple edits and revisions as needed\nMaintain organized project files and final exports\nHelp maintain a backlog of completed short-form creative\nRequirements\nProfessional experience editing short-form video, Reels, branded content, or commercial social content\nStrong portfolio or reel demonstrating high-quality video editing\nExcellent sense of pacing, rhythm, composition, and storytelling\nStrong color correction and color-grading skills\nStrong judgment around music and sound selection\nAbility to create premium brand content without relying heavily on templates or trendy effects\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to work independently from provided creative direction\nComfortable working in a fractional, remote capacity\nAbility to consistently deliver polished creative on deadline\nPreferred Skills\nExperience producing content for premium, luxury, lifestyle, or design-conscious brands\nStrong experience with professional video-editing software\nExperience editing Instagram Reels and other vertical short-form formats\nUnderstanding of typography and motion graphics for video\nExperience working with existing brand systems and creative direction\nStrong color-grading capabilities\nExperience selecting and integrating music and sound into branded content\nTools & Technology\nAdobe Premiere Pro | DaVinci Resolve | Final Cut Pro | After Effects | Professional Color-Grading Tools | Audio Editing Tools\nEquivalent professional editing tools are also welcome.\nWhat Makes You a Strong Fit\nYou’ll likely thrive in this role if you:\nHave a strong visual eye and can immediately recognize when an edit feels polished\nUnderstand the difference between premium branded content and typical influencer-style editing\nKnow when to keep an edit clean rather than adding unnecessary effects\nHave excellent instincts for pacing, music, and sound\nCan elevate raw footage through editing and color\nWork well from an established creative direction\nAre highly execution-oriented and don’t need to own social strategy\nCan consistently deliver refined, brand-ready work\nTake feedback well and turn revisions around efficiently\nWhat a Typical Project Looks Like\nYou’ll receive raw footage, existing creative assets, and direction for a piece of short-form content.\nFrom there, you’ll select the strongest footage, build the edit, establish pacing, refine the color, select appropriate music and sound, incorporate brand elements, and deliver a polished final video ready to publish.\nIn short: we provide the footage, assets, and direction;
