You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality designs and ensure those designs are implemented accurately.\nWhat You’ll Own\nInterface Design\nCreate polished, user-centered UI designs for Venveo's digital products.\nTranslate briefs and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready visuals.\nEnsure designs align with established design systems and brand standards.\nUX Research & Validation\nConduct or support user research activities, including usability testing and heuristic reviews.\nSynthesize research findings to inform design decisions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the user experience.\nPrototyping & Iteration\nBuild interactive prototypes at the appropriate level of fidelity.\nUse prototypes to communicate concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.\nIterate quickly toward validated design solutions.\nDesign System Stewardship\nContribute to and maintain Venveo's component library and design system.\nEnsure consistency across product surfaces.\nHelp reduce design debt over time.\nCross-functional Collaboration\nPartner closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.\nAlign on requirements and define appropriate scope.\nEnsure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented.\nHandoff & Developer Support\nPrepare precise design specifications and assets for engineering handoff.\nRemain available during development to answer design-related questions.\nReview implementations and provide feedback on design fidelity.\nRequired Experience & Skills\nDemonstrated professional experience in UX/UI design.\nPortfolio showing end-to-end product thinking and strong visual craft.\nProficiency in Figma, including component creation, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management.\nSolid understanding of UX fundamentals, including information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.\nExperience working in cross-functional product teams alongside engineers and product managers.\nStrong written and spoken English communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate asynchronously and clearly present design rationale.\nWhat Makes You a Strong Fit\nYou take ownership when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.\nYou ask the right questions, make reasonable assumptions explicit, and keep work moving forward.\nYou maintain a high standard for visual quality while remaining open to feedback.\nYou treat critique as useful input and separate feedback on the work from personal judgment.\nYou communicate proactively across time zones and surface blockers early.\nYou balance speed and craft, knowing when to move quickly and when a design decision requires deeper exploration.\nYou keep collaborators informed without needing to be prompted.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDigital product interfaces are polished, user-centered, and aligned with established design standards.\nUser flows and interaction patterns are clear and thoughtfully designed.\nPrototypes effectively communicate concepts and support validation.\nDesign system components remain consistent and well maintained.\nEngineering teams receive clear, accurate specifications and assets.\nImplemented designs closely match approved designs.\nCollaboration remains proactive, clear, and effective across product and engineering teams.\nTypical Day\nYour day will likely begin with a review of async feedback from Venveo teammates on current design files, responding with annotations or updated iterations in Figma.\nMid-morning may involve a short sync with a product manager or engineer to align on requirements for an upcoming feature.
