This is a hands-on role based in our Kraków hub, partnering closely with Finance leadership in the US, People Ops and Legal. You’ll be the go-to finance own\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn accounting, tax and payroll for our Poland entity: monthly close, reconciliations, VAT and any other required filings, statutory reporting and year-end\nRun Polish payroll end-to-end or oversee our provider, with accuracy and on-time payment every cycle\nManage accounts payable for the US entity: invoice intake, coding, approvals and payment runs\nOwn accounts receivable and collections for the US entity: invoicing, cash application, aging reviews and proactive follow-up to reduce DSO\nPrepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaid, reclasses, inter-company) and support the US month-end close\nMaintain inter-company accounting and transfer pricing documentation between our Polish and US entities, and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors\nDocument processes, strengthen controls and automate manual work as we scale\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Polish accounting firm, Big 4/mid-tier advisor or in-house finance team at an international or high-growth company\nDeep knowledge of Polish statutory accounting, VAT/JPK, CIT and KSeF e-invoicing requirements\nHands-on experience with Polish payroll, and with managing external payroll providers\nStrong AP, AR and collections experience, with a track record of accuracy and measurable results (payment accuracy, DSO)\nFamiliarity with US GAAP and experience supporting a US-headquartered parent; ACCA, CPA, CIMA or similar credential is a plus\nProficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets, with enthusiasm for automation and new tools, including AI-assisted workflows\nFluent English and Polish, comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with a US-based team across time zones\nCompensation, It's What We Do.\nAt Pave, we believe compensation should be as thoughtful as the people we hire.
