Project Planning & Schedule Management:\nDevelop and maintain detailed project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.\n\nDefine and allocate resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) efficiently across project phases.\n\nAnticipate potential bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and implement immediate corrective actions to prevent delays.\n\n2. Financial & Budgetary Control:\nManage the overall project budget and closely monitor project cash flows.\n\nControl costs, minimize material wastage, and implement value-engineering practices where applicable.\n\nReview and approve subcontractor invoices (invoices/progress billing) and prepare owner payment applications.\n\nEvaluate, negotiate, and manage variation orders and claims.\n\n3. Engineering, Technical Support & Quality Assurance:\nReview and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals prior to execution.\n\nEnsure all on-site construction works adhere to standard codes of practice, design specifications, and contract terms.\n\nCollaborate with QA/QC engineers to manage inspections and secure hassle-free approvals from the consultant.\n\n4. Leadership & Site Management:\nProvide direct leadership, mentorship, and supervision to site engineers, planning engineers, foremen, and labor forces.\n\nDelegate daily and weekly performance targets to the execution teams and evaluate their output.\n\nResolve technical conflicts and logistical challenges efficiently on-site.\n\n5. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:\nAct as the primary point of contact for the Client and Consultant in progress meetings.\n\nManage procurement, contracts, and schedules for subcontractors and material suppliers.\n\nDraft and submit structured progress reports (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly) to senior executive management.\n\n6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):\nEnforce strict compliance with safety rules, site-specific hazard regulations, and environmental standards to maintain a zero-accident site.\n\n???? Qualifications & Requirements\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.\n\nExperience: 7 to 10 years of total experience in the construction sector, with at least 2 to 3 years acting as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.\n\nProfessional Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred.\n\nSyndicate Membership: Valid registration/membership in the national Engineers Syndicate.\n\n????
