Learn more at www.pavion.com\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our security business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nInnovative, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent ION 247 and Pavion in a professional, ethical manner to gain a high level of confidence.\nExcellent problem-solving and meeting facilitation skills.\nDevelop and execute a strong business plan, advanced selling skills, e.g., qualify prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation, and contracts (closing).\nExperience building network of business relationships to create sales opportunities.\nIdentify target opportunities to ‘take’ large customer sales from our competitors where possible.\nServe as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts.\nDemonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their IT challenges (e.g., infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity risks, cloud adoption, operational downtime) to drive long-term results and become their trusted advisor.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree\n3 to 5 years sales experience, preferably in the managed IT services or IT solutions business but at minimum a customer service-oriented business.\nValid Driver's License\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of the competitive managed IT landscape, MSP providers, and key influencers.\nProven history of sales success identifying and developing (hunting) new business opportunities in IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, or related fields.\n The salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000 annually, plus commission. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
