Learn more at www.pavion.com.\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Program Manager- Workforce Development to join our security business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop and manage workforce development programs designed to support Pavion's current and future technician staffing needs.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with trade schools, technical colleges, community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and workforce development organizations.\nRepresent Pavion at career fairs, school events, classroom presentations, networking events, and other recruiting and educational activities.\nPartner with school administrators, instructors, career placement teams, and program directors to develop long-term talent pipelines.\nIdentify opportunities to establish internships, apprenticeships, job-shadowing programs, and entry-level career pathways.\nWork closely with Recruiting to develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified entry-level and early-career technicians.\nPartner with Operations and Field Leadership to understand technical workforce needs, skill requirements, and geographic hiring priorities.\nDevelop relationships with students and graduates and educate them on career opportunities within Pavion.\nCoordinate school visits, facility tours, technician demonstrations, and other initiatives that introduce students to careers in security, fire, AV, structured cabling, data centers, and related technical fields.\nDevelop and maintain career pathways that provide technicians with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.\nPartner with experienced technicians and field leaders to identify training, mentorship, and development opportunities.\nTrack workforce development activities, school partnerships, candidate pipelines, hires, and program outcomes.\nDevelop and maintain program goals, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics.\nProvide regular updates to leadership regarding workforce development initiatives, partnerships, pipeline activity, and results.\nIdentify opportunities to expand workforce development efforts into new geographic markets based on business growth and staffing needs.\nCollaborate with Human Resources and Recruiting on initiatives designed to improve technician retention, engagement, and career progression.\nBuild strong relationships across Pavion and serve as a resource for technician workforce development initiatives.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Workforce Development, Communications, or a related field preferred.\n3+ years of experience in program management, workforce development, recruiting, technical training, operations, or a related field.\nExperience working with trade schools, technical colleges, apprenticeship programs, or workforce development organizations preferred.\nExperience within the security, low-voltage, fire alarm, AV, structured cabling, telecommunications, data center, electrical, or other skilled-trades industries strongly preferred.\nStrong relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to develop partnerships at all levels.\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with Recruiting, Human Resources, Operations, and Field Leadership.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative and practical workforce solutions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize recruiting, project management, and workforce management systems.\nAbility and willingness to travel to Pavion locations, trade schools, career fairs, and other workforce development events as needed.\nThe salary range for this position is $100,000-$140,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
