Learn more atwww.pavion.com\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nService, Troubleshoot & program burglar alarms, fire alarms, closed circuit television, & access control systems.\nEnsure equipment is functional and operational\nDiagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair\nReplace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.\nProvide technical support to customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers\nInteract professionally with customers\nCoordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficiently\nInform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate action\nPerform test and inspect fire alarm systems\nMaintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment.\nBasic Qualifications:\nHS Diploma or GED\n2+ years of Burglar Alarm Service Experience\n2+ years of CCTV/ IP-CCTV Service Experience\n2+ years of Access Control Service Experience\nThe ability to carry and climb step/extension ladders where needed and lift objects up to 50 pounds when needed\nValid Driver Licenses required\nMust be able to demonstrate basic computer/tablet skills\nSame day travel required, technician will be working Richmond/Virginia Beach markets mainly\nPreferred Qualifications:\nNICET Certification\nManufacturer certifications preferred (ex. Siemens, Notifier, Honeywell, Bosch)\nThe hourly pay range for this position is $25.00-$40.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
