Learn more at www.pavion.com.\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nService, Program, Test, and Inspect Fire Alarm Systems\nEnsure equipment is functional and operational\nDiagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repair\nReplace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.\nProvide technical support to Customers including, remote phone diagnosis, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers\nInteract professionally with customers\nCoordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficiently\nInform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate action\nMaintains assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n5+ years’ experience in installing or servicing burglar alarm, fire alarm, closed circuit television, access control systems\nKnowledgeable about working on fire alarm and security systems. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting\nThis position requires regular driving to customer and project sites. A valid driver’s license is required\nPreferred Qualifications:\nNICET II Certification\nAlarm System Notifier experience including troubleshooting and programming\nThe hourly pay range for this position is $30.00-$40.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
