Learn more at www.pavion.com\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nInstallation, Service and Testing of Fire Alarm and Burglar Alarm Systems\nProvide customers with required equipment documentation and Training\nIf applicable, install and upgrade all new systems as required by the manufacturer\nComplete Installation of Systems in an efficient and profitable manner\nSupervising various electrical contractors as they install AFA-Notifier fire alarm equipment for all of the tenant spaces, and core systems. at JFK (Terminal 1 and Terminal 6) including billable and non-billable trouble shooting and testing.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n5+ years experience with fire alarm service\nCustomer service experience\nKnowledge of NFPA- National Fire Alarm Codes\nKnowledge of NFPA 101- Life Safety Code\nFamiliar with Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Sprinkler System and Water-Based Protection\nTechnicians are to perform their duties in a safe and professional manner\nNotifier, DMP, Bosch, Fire-Lite and Honeywell overall knowledge preferred\nMust be available for on-call and willing to work overtime\nNYCFD S-98 certificate required\nKnowledge of programming\nValid drivers license and acceptable driving record\nPreferred Qualifications\nNICET II Certification\nAlarm System Notifier experience including troubleshooting and programming\nThe hourly pay range for this position is $30 to $45 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
