Learn more atwww.pavion.com\nPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr System Administrator to join our shared services team.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServe as a technical leader for enterprise infrastructure spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, and core SaaS platforms.\nPartner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design solutions that scale and remain resilient under load.\nTake charge during outages: direct response efforts, coordinate across teams, and communicate status clearly to stakeholders at all levels.\nLead root cause analysis following incidents and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nOwn and maintain high-availability infrastructure across multiple locations and cloud environments.\nLead infrastructure projects - implementations, migrations, upgrades, and acquisition integrations - from planning through execution.\nAdminister identity and access management platforms, including Active Directory, ADFS, and Microsoft Entra.\nSupport enterprise datacenter infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and disaster recovery systems.\nAct as a mentor and subject-matter expert, translating complex technical topics into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.\nDevelop and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nIdentify and champion opportunities for automation and process improvement.\nParticipate in 24x7 operational support as needed.\nBasic Qualifications:\n10+ years of progressive experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, with demonstrated leadership in incident response and cross-team coordination.\nProven experience operating and maintaining high-availability (HA) environments.\nExtensive experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware administration.\nExperience with identity and access management platforms, including Active Directory, ADFS, and Microsoft Entra.\nExperience managing Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments.\nExperience supporting enterprise networking and telecommunications systems.\nProven track record leading root cause analysis and driving preventive measures.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues for varied audiences.\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships across teams to deliver scalable solutions.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, VPN connectivity, and threat prevention.\nExperience deploying and supporting Cisco Meraki networking solutions.\nKnowledge of network segmentation, zero trust principles, and enterprise security architecture.\nFamiliarity with mobile device management (Intune, MaaS360).\nExposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST).\nPay Range- The salary range for this position is $140,000-160,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
