from developing security policies and reviewing architecture to monitoring threats, coordinating security testing, and supporting incident response.What you’ll be doing:Creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, while ensuring alignment with relevant standards and regulatory requirements;\nReviewing project documentation, architecture, and development practices to ensure security requirements and standards are met;\nMonitoring and analysing cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents, and tracking remediation activities;\nPerforming security assessments, control testing, and risk analysis;\nWorking closely with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams to strengthen our security posture;\nIdentifying security gaps and recommending practical remediation actions;\nManaging, maintaining, and supporting cybersecurity awareness initiatives and communicating security best practices across the organisation;\nAssessing the security risks of third-party tools and services before and during their use;\nOrganising and coordinating external penetration testing activities, tracking identified risks and vulnerabilities through remediation;\nSupporting the SOC with incident investigations, evidence preservation, response, and recovery activities;\nReviewing and fine-tuning security monitoring alerts and rules to improve detection and reduce false positives;\nParticipating in an on-call rotation when required.\nWhat makes you a great candidate:You have 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security preferably in a regulated industry;\nYou have hands-on experience with security technologies and tooling such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection solutions, and cloud security tools;\nYou understand cybersecurity risks and controls and can apply that knowledge in a practical business and technology environment;\nYou are proactive, independent, and comfortable taking initiative with minimal supervision;\nYou are confident making decisions and taking ownership of security-related topics;\nYou can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams;\nYou are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation.\nExtra expertise we appreciate:Experience working in regulated industries such as insurance, banking, FinTech, iGaming, or other licensed environments;\nExperience with frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST CSF, ISO 42001, or the EU Cybersecurity Act;\nRelevant cybersecurity certifications such as ISC2 CC/CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+;\nRelevant higher education or other formal education in cybersecurity, information security, IT, or a related field.\nWhy choose pawaTech?We make an impact and contribute to shaping the iGaming culture;\nWe offer growth inside dedicated teams of seniors and career prospects;\nWe embrace a modern technological stack and an innovative approach;\nWe apply AI-driven tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and keep our teams ahead in innovation;\nWe value balance -
