You will work across QA Automation, API and backend testing, functional testing, and debugging, helping make sure our systems process and handle data accurately.\nThis is a hands-on QA Automation role where you will contribute to strong test coverage, identify issues early, and help deliver stable and reliable software in a complex financial environment\nWe are looking for someone who can take ownership of QA activities, understand systems deeply, and contribute to building a strong quality mindset within the team.\n\nLocation: Remote from Poland, Portugal (Contractor arrangement) or Cyprus Onsite (Relocation support provided)\nReporting to: Team Lead\n\nWhat you will do:\nBuild and maintain automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.\nCreate and execute test cases based on new feature implementations.\nPerform API and backend testing, ensuring correct system behaviour and data integrity.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across FinDB systems.\nConduct manual testing when needed to ensure full coverage.\nPrepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and coverage based on product requirements.\nAnalyse logs and system flows to identify issues and understand root causes.\nIdentify, document, and track defects with clear evidence and reproducible steps.\nParticipate in refinement sessions and provide QA input early in the development lifecycle.\nCollaborate closely with engineers and product teams to improve quality and delivery.\nContribute to improving test automation, coverage, and QA practices.\nContribute to delivering stable and reliable software in a complex financial environment.\n\nWhat we need:\n3+ years of experience in QA Automation.\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nPlaywright\nTypeScript\nPython\nPyTest\nExperience with API and backend testing.\nStrong functional and integration testing experience.\nAbility to design and structure clear, maintainable test cases.\nStrong debugging skills, including working with logs and system behaviour.\nGood understanding of data validation and system behaviour.\nGood communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly.\nComfortable taking ownership and working in fast-paced, evolving environments.\nNice to have:\nExperience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial platforms.\nExperience with acquiring, settlement, payouts, or transaction-based systems.\nUnderstanding of transaction flows, reconciliation, or financial data.\nExperience with Selenium.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems or microservices architectures.\nExposure to cloud-based environments.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.\nHiring Process:\n Step 1 - Thinking in Action (40 minutes) Your first conversation will be with our Talent Acquisition team. As part of this discussion, you'll also complete a short technical screening that will be reviewed by our engineering team. This stage helps us understand both your experience and how you approach technical challenges.\n Step 2 - Build in Production (60-90 minutes) Meet with the Team Lead and technical experts for a practical assessment. Depending on the role, this may involve a live coding exercise or a real-world scenario designed to evaluate your technical skills, problem-solving approach, and ability to work through challenges similar to those faced by our teams.\n Step 3 - Final Interview (45 minutes) The final stage is a group interview with senior members of our Technology squad, which may include the CTO, CPO, and Team Lead. Together, we'll discuss team fit, collaboration style, expectations from both sides, and any remaining questions about the role, team, or technology domain.
