We’re hiring a Staff/ Senior Accountant to join our growing team at Payabli. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close, while also assisting with audits and vendor invoice processing. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP, along with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in Quickbooks
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Assist in month-end, and year-end close processes
Receive, review and process vendor invoices
Assist with audit preparation and tax compliance activities
Complete Ad hoc accounting related requests
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (private accounting with some public accounting experience preferred)
Highly experienced with Excel and Quickbooks online
Strong understanding of GAAP
Strong verbal and written communication skills
