and analyze financials and credit of merchant accounts, merchant financial and activity risk, compliance with law and association rules and other operational duties in the normal course of merchant acquiring business.\nDaily tasks will include ongoing monitoring of Payarc’s merchant portfolio for fraud and credit risk exposure across all supported platforms and related tools by utilizing sound judgment and strong risk mitigation strategies.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities and Duties\nResponsible for the daily, weekly and monthly exception monitoring of Merchant Acquiring Accounts\nIndividual is responsible for financial analysis of prospective merchant accounts in accordance with the Merchant Services Policy and Card Brand regulations\nDeveloping mitigation strategies and collateral structures to mitigate risk\nPeriodically review existing merchants to ensure compliance with Financial Guidelines and risk standards\nWorks closely with risk staff, underwriters, and client liaisons to manage risk perceptions on accounts, communicate information obtained about activity and facilitate resolutions\nCommunicate merchant account changes decisions effectively in both verbal and written communication\nResponsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with assigned clients\nProviding ongoing education and guidance to clients regarding risk mitigation strategies\nProvide operational assistance as needed with changes in customer’s limits, merchant accounts changes and terminations\nCollaborate with various departments throughout the organization to improve the quality of tasks and procedures\nAdhere to Payarc’s compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any applicable bank or card brand regulatory standard, requirements, and policies.\nEnsures Payarc’s internal controls are documented appropriately and effectively.\nIdentify and trace any suspicious activities or high-risk transactions\nAnalyze credit and financial statements\nCredit authority of $75,000\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills/Competencies\nDetail oriented and must have the ability to prioritize all tasks appropriately\nSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success\nTeam player\nStrong technical aptitude and willingness to learn\nStrong interpersonal skills for interacting effectively decisions\nQualifications/Experience Required\n6+ months of relevant experience\nRisk mitigation experience preferred\nExperience underwriting merchant services accounts preferred\nAdvanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office\nPossess knowledge of the acquiring business with respect to industry trends, business risk factors, merchant signing requirements and other operational
