And we have a lot of fun together.\nAs a People Operations Coordinator, you will be integral to our small but mighty People Team. You will interact with various organizational stakeholders, deliver world-class service to our workforce, and ensure a positive candidate and employee experience. \nYou will play a crucial role in ensuring that all of our employees have the best possible experience working here. You will work closely with our People Operations team, focusing on the day-to-day execution of various operations and tasks ranging from data entry to process creation. You'll be involved in onboarding, organizational updates, and supporting our distributed workforce. \nThis role is a hybrid position based out of Kansas City. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow their human resources and talent management career.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nGeneral Support:\nServe as the people point of contact for day-to-day people questions and general employee conversations. Support employee inquiries on policy and process matters throughout their employee lifecycle.\nProvide operational support and maintain accurate employee data and files across all systems in accordance with state and federal laws\nProvide administrative support to PayIt’s people processes, including but not limited to new hire onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, offboarding, payroll, compensation, reporting, tax compliance, and workplace experience \nDocument people process changes as needed and continually evolve the people and talent tech stack (HRIS, ATS, Team Communications)\nBuilding out people process workflows at PayIt to continuously improve our business effectiveness. Leverage automation and AI tools (i.e. Claude, Gemini, and GPT) to streamline processes.\nAdminister benefits, including open enrollment, 401(k), and leave management\nSupport People and Business leaders in performance org design and management \nMaintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of sensitive information\nProgram Management:\nSupport planning and coordination of PayIt culture events, both virtual and in-person\nContinuously improve processes and programs that improve the employee lifecycle\nImprove the lightweight systems, documentation, and tooling that keep People operations running smoothly\nManage initiatives like our wellness budget by planning activities, tracking expenses, and evaluating vendors\nTalent Operations:\nSupport talent and recruiting operations\nManage job postings across platforms and keep our employer branding strong across our talent channels\nWhat You'll Need:\n2-3 years of experience, with a preference for experience in a high-growth-phase organization\nA Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or Communications \nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities\nExcellent communication skills and familiarity with tools like Google Suite, Slack, and Generative AI tools \nYou Could Be a Great Fit If You\nAre detail-oriented, especially when it comes to data quality\nInvestigate problems to determine root causes and define robust solutions\nWork independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively\nAre an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing\nAre team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to solving problems\nRecognize that Sensitive/confidential information must be handled compliantly\nHave experience with the use of HRIS and ATS systems \nBonus Points For:\nExperience working in a SaaS company\nStrong data skills and/or experience building AI solutions \nPrevious experience in recruiting or talent acquisition\nSocial media content creation experience\nThis Role May Not Be a Fit If:\nYou’re uncomfortable with ambiguity: You prefer well-defined assignments.\nYou prefer to work on a narrow scope, a single project, or tasks at one time\nYou enjoy repetitive work \nAnnual Salary Range:\n$55,000—$80,000 USD\nWhy Work For Us:\nOur mission matters.
