As part of our Accounting Team, you will have the opportunity to help build and stream-line our internal accounting function with a primary focus on the daily activities in the local accounting area. You will report to the Accounting Manager and partner with local accounting teams to improve and automate our accounting processes there. You have a demonstrated track record of experience in accounting, possess outstanding communication skills, and share our mission to expand access to finance to the next billion consumers worldwide.\nKey responsibilities\nReview daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.\n\nParticipate in external and internal tax and accounting audits.\n\nPrepare financial accounting reports.\n\nBalance Sheet Account reconciliation\n\nReconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to daily balances.\n\nReconcile and book complex or non-standard transactions in NetSuite.\n\nReview month-end and year-end closing.\n\nOrganize financial data into usable information and maintain up-to-date records.\n\nMonitor the progress of financial and accounting objectives.\n\nEstablish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company objectives.\n\nEnsure compliance with local accounting regulations in the company.\n\nReview the calculation of tax returns is correct and in accordance with accounting regulations.\n\nRequirements\n1-3 years of experience in public accounting or in a role managing a high volume of transactions and account reconciliations\n\nAcademic degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Auditing.
