This role is ideal for someone organized, responsible, and eager to grow in a dynamic work environment.\nOnsite | Full time | Hong Kong\nWhat you will do: \nMonth end closing & financial analysis\nPerform month end closing duties including financial analysis, reviewing full general ledger, P&L, Balance sheet according to US GAAP, and/or any local GAAP in the Asia Pacific region; experience in consolidation is added advantage.\nHandle accounting and taxation enquiries from internal/external stakeholders.\nAssisting audit requirements (internal and external).\nCorporate payments\nProcess payment requests with relevant supporting documents and obtain proper approvals.\nHandle invoice settlements and expense reimbursements.\nUpload and reconcile bank balances and transactions\nAssisting relevant purchasing requestors and procurement team across APAC region if needed.\nFinancial Projects and Process Improvements\nParticipate in finance transformation projects.\nDefine and deliver process improvements across Finance team, focusing on:\nProcess design/redesigning.\nTime-saving opportunities.\nControls and risk assessment. \nPayroll operations\nAssist in payroll-related work and resolve employee inquiries relating to payroll matters.\nPerform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.\nFor this role you are also:\nNumber sensitive and an analytical thinker as well as good at multi-tasking.\nWith excellent interpersonal skills, able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders across APAC region.\nSelf-motivated, well organized, independent, responsible, good communication skills and problem-solving skills.\nWilling to take up challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWho you are: \nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business studies or any professional accountancy qualification.\nMinimum 3 years accounting experience.\nStrong knowledge (and application) in accounting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS or equivalent.\nHands-on knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ ERP.\nWell-versed in accounting & vendor payment processing procedures.\nHigh level of written and spoken English & Chinese.\nExperience in managing Asia Pacific region (or multiple regions).\nNot a must but a great advantage:\nExperience in Power BI/ Business Central ERP / Microsoft Dynamics (NAV).\nExperience in cross-border e-commerce, online payment industry.\nPrior experience in engaging outsourced bookkeeping team.\nThe Payoneer Ways of Working \nAct as our customer’s partner on the inside\nLearning what they need and creating what will help them go further. \nDo it.
