The role also involves partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, overseeing audit projects and remediation activities, and ensuring compliance with professional internal audit standards.\nExperience in financial services, AML/CTF, IT audits, and data analytics is a strong advantage.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nConduct risk-based audits by analyzing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of financial, operational, regulatory and compliance related controls\nDetermine internal audit scope and develop detailed audit plans\nShare results with the business area’s leadership team; create reports to summarize observations and recommendations and communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders\nLead and coordinate cross-functional audit and departmental initiatives, providing project management oversight, tracking key dependencies, and ensuring successful execution of strategic priorities\nConduct follow up audits to monitor progress and remediation of audit findings\nMaintain open communication with management and relevant stakeholders\nImplement audit work in accordance with audit department and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.\nWHO YOU ARE\nMinimum of 8 years of internal audit related experience. Banking/financial services experience a plus\nBA degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Management.\nExcellent written, oral and presentation skills in English - a must\nSelf-starter with strong organizational, planning, time management and problem-solving skills.\nStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, monitor progress against plans, manage departmental priorities, and ensure effective follow-up on action items and deliverables.\nBe adaptable and able to meet deadlines on assignments, juggle multiple demands and work with all types of individuals including executive management.\nDetail oriented but able to quickly grasp the big picture.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAdvanced computer skills including MS Office and Data Analytics tools Not a must but a great advantage\nCPA and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)\nWorked in one of the Big 4 firms\nUtilize AI in audit work\nCAMS certified\nExperience in AML/CTF compliance audits\nIT / IS audit experience\nSQL query/data analytics knowledge and hands-on experience\nThe Payoneer Ways of Working \nAct as our customer’s partner on the inside\nLearning what they need and creating what will help them go further. \nDo it.
