Job Summary:
Some of our best SMB merchants come to us through the local developers and agencies who build for them.You will work on strengthening PayPal’s presence on the Italian market by leading local engagement, attending key E-com events, and representing PayPal across the ecosystem to generate incremental merchant business. You’ll be responsible for building stronger local relationships, drive lead generation, and position PayPal as a preferred payment solution among merchant communities. You will identify opportunities, create referral activity and connect agency-generated leads to the appropriate Merchant Attach or Account Management owner.Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate internally to influence process quality and efficiency.
- Determine appropriate actions and consider alternative solutions.
- Acquire, manage, and expand relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.
- Use analytical skills and judgment to recommend best solutions.
- Influence through defined processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Track lead quality, conversionand incremental business contribution.
Share feedback on agency needs, merchant objectionsand market opportunities.
What You'll Bring - Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, developer relations, or a similar commercial role within e-commerce, fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology.
Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and convert partnership and business opportunities into measurable commercial results.
Strong understanding of e-commerce payment flows, payment methods, checkout experiences, APIs, SDKs, plugins, and integrations.
