Summary\nThe Direct Sourcing Director leads strategic sourcing and supplier strategy for digital payments and merchant services. This role focuses on cost optimization, supplier innovation, ensures favorable business terms that drive financial and operational value to the business.\nThis hybrid position can be based in our Jacksonville, FL or London, UK office and requires three days per week on-site.\nCore Competencies\nDeep expertise in the Digital Payments Industry/Financial Technology\nDeep Strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and competitive bidding expertise\nProcurement leadership expertise\nExpert negotiation, and deep commercial and contract management skills\nFinancial acumen including working capital optimization\nSupplier relationship management and performance management\nExpert stakeholder and trusted partner to the business \nDeep Cross-functional collaboration and engagement\nStrategic thinker and ability to drive innovation\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for suppliers/partners in the Digital Payments platforms and merchants’ business ecosystem.\nConduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.\nNegotiate contracts inclusive of favorable business terms such as working capital optimization, cost optimization, volume-based rebates, and risk-sharing mechanisms.\nBuild and maintain Trusted Advisor relationships with business community\nBuild and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers.\nWork in concert with the Vendor Management and Stakeholder community to implement supplier performance management\nPartner with Stakeholders; Finance, Operations, Technology, and Legal to align sourcing strategies with business objectives as needed.\nEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, data security standards, and company policies. Work collaboratively with Supplier Risk Management\nMeasurements\nCost Savings: Achieve annual cost reduction targets (e.g., 10-20% Hard and Soft savings).\nWorking Capital Impact: Improve cash flow through optimized payment terms and discount programs.\nSupplier Performance: Maintain compliance and quality standards via SLAs and other measurements\nContract Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to negotiated terms.\nInnovation: Introduce supplier strategies (e.g. consolidations, new suppliers that improve client and/or stakeholder experience)\nStakeholder Satisfaction: Via Net-Promoter scores and other tools, receive positive feedback from business community on sourcing expertise, partnership and responsiveness\nEducation & Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.\n10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.\nStrong negotiation and contract management skills, including working capital strategies.\nExpertise in the Digital Payments Industry/Financial Technology sourcing.\nPreferred: Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).\nProfessional certifications: CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.\nWorking knowledge of use of AI\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nPaysafe provides equal employment opportunities to all employees, and applicants for employment, and prohibits discrimination of any type with regard to ethnicity, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other protected characteristics.
