About the Team
The QR Business is at the core of Paytm’s merchant ecosystem, driving digital payment adoption and transaction growth across millions of merchants. The team is responsible for expanding merchant acceptance, strengthening engagement, increasing transaction volumes, and building sustainable business growth across SMB, B2B, KAM, and large enterprise merchant segments.
About the Role
We are looking for a Regional Manager to lead the QR business across a large and strategically important region.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end regional business ownership, including revenue and P&L, merchant acquisition, QR deployment, activation, transaction growth, market expansion, and large-scale sales team leadership.
The role will work closely with senior business and functional leadership to define regional strategy, build high-performing teams, identify growth opportunities, and deliver sustainable business outcomes. The candidate will be expected to operate as a business leader, driving both strategic direction and execution excellence across the region.
What We Are Looking For
Graduate/Postgraduate from a Tier-1 college/institution.
6-15 years of relevant experience in sales, business leadership, or distribution.
Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking, Telecom, Insurance, Merchant Acquiring, or FMCG preferred.
Proven experience in leading large sales teams and managing regional/multi-geography businesses.
Strong exposure to P&L ownership, merchant acquisition, B2B/KAM, and transaction-led businesses.
Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
Ability to build businesses, launch new markets, and scale high-performing teams.
