operates.\nResponsibilities & key activities:\nConduct ongoing internal control testing and identify opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop recommendations to address identified gaps and irregularities.\nMonitor and verify the implementation of recommendations following control testing, inspections and audits.\nPrepare and update internal control policies and procedures.\nDesign and map control mechanisms across business processes.\nSupport colleagues across PayU in understanding internal controls and the control mechanisms in place.\nReview the results of horizontal testing and provide additional recommendations where needed.\nSupport internal audits conducted within PayU and help ensure effective follow-up on audit findings.\nQualifications and Experience:\nA bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as law, administration, finance, management, etc. \n3+ years of experience in internal control, internal audit, external audit, risk management or compliance.\nA strong understanding of internal control systems, ideally within a payment institution or another regulated environment.\nKnowledge of KNF recommendations relating to internal control systems.\nFluency in both Polish and English, allowing you to work comfortably in a professional environment.\nVery good knowledge of MS Office.\nStrong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nA high level of attention to detail, while also being able to see the bigger picture.\nA proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.\nConfidence in making decisions and communicating recommendations.\nAssertiveness and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nWhat we offer:\nEmployment under a contract of
