As a licensed Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP), Payment Terminal Service Provider (PTSP), and Super-Agent, Paymi Solutions Limited empowers businesses and individuals through world-class digital payment infrastructure and technology-driven financial services.\nAt Paymi Solutions Limited, we are committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, and customer trust while driving innovation across the digital payments’ ecosystem.\n The Accountant will be responsible for keeping and maintaining proper books of accounts for the preparation of annual, statutory and group reporting accounts to give a lucid view of the company’s situation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance \nPrepare and file tax returns \nEnter accounting related information into business logs \nInspect account books for efficiency and accuracy \nResponsible for GAAP preparation and entry of journal entries \nCalculate and document accruals. \nPerform bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of cash receipts and transfers \nMaintain fixed assets. \nPrepare balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations \nPerform monthly profit and loss analysis with explanation for variances to budget and prior periods including proposing required journal entries as needed \nSet and execute year-end accounting close activities \nSupports annual financial and other audits \nLiaison between Account Receivable, Account Payable, general accounting, finance, IT, and other teams as necessary \nIdentify and drive revenue initiatives and strategy to advance the team and organization \nMake recommendations and implement actions necessary to maintain and improve team and organization metrics \nOther duties & projects assigned \nBachelor’s degree in accounting or any other relevant discipline. \nMinimum 5 years of prior general accounting experience. \nExperience in Fintech space is a plus \nCertification in Accounting related is a plus. \nMembership of relevant professional bodies such as Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) is a plus \nProfessional written and verbal communication and presentation skills \nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Advance Filters, Pivot tables, If Statements, Text to Columns, etc.) \nStrong account reconciliation skills \nStrong data analysis skills\n Paymi Solutions offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with numerous benefits:\nCompetitive Compensation.\n5-day workweek.\nWellness Programs.\nEmployee Training Programs.\nOpportunities for Growth and Development.\n.
