The role focuses on building scalable, secure, high-performance interfaces that support Paymi Solutions Limited services while ensuring seamless integration with backend systems, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices\nThe Frontend Engineer builds Paymi Solutions Limited's web and dashboard interfaces, delivering intuitive, performant and secure user experiences.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, build and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces.\nTranslate UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable frontend components.\nIntegrate frontend applications with backend APIs.\nParticipate in code review, sprint planning and technical discussions.\nOptimize application performance and cross-browser compatibility.\nImplement frontend security best practices (input validation, XSS/CSRF protection).\nMonitor and improve application performance through profiling, optimization, and code refactoring.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve user interface issues and application bugs.\nConduct code reviews and maintain coding standards across development teams\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with QA teams to develop automated and manual testing strategies.\nEnsure secure handling of customer and payment-related data across user interfaces.\nImplement secure authentication and authorization controls in collaboration with backend teams.\nWork closely with Product and Design teams to enhance user experience and customer engagement.\nParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to frontend technology decisions.\n EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).\nEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nTotal Relevant Experience: Engineer Level I: 3-5 years;\nFintech / Financial Services Experience: 3 + years building frontend applications in fintech or a regulated environment preferred\nSKILLS & COMPETENCIES\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React/Vue/Angular)\nExperience consuming REST/GraphQL APIs\nUnderstanding of web-security best practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP)\nAttention to UI/UX detail and cross-browser performance\nUnderstanding of micro frontend architecture and component-driven development.\nFamiliarity with cloud-based application deployment environments.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nREGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS (NIGERIA)\nImplements frontend controls supporting PCI-DSS and secure handling of sensitive input fields.\nEnsures consent flows and data collection UI comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.\n Paymi solutions limited offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with numerous benefits:\nCompetitive Compensation.\n5-day workweek.\nWellness Programs.\nEmployee Training Programs.\nOpportunities for Growth and Development.\n.
