The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and performance of the Payzeep products and platforms. The role supports the software development lifecycle through test planning, test execution, defect management, automation, and continuous quality improvement.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and execute test plans, test cases and regression suites.\nBuild and maintain automated test scripts for web/mobile/API layers.\nIdentify, document and track defects through resolution.\nParticipate in sprint planning to define acceptance criteria.\nSupport UAT coordination and release-readiness sign-off.\nSupport performance and security-focused testing where required.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable releases.\nValidate web, mobile, API, and back-end services to ensure consistent functionality and performance.\nWork closely with development teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.\nSupport performance, load, and stress testing activities.\nContribute to defining acceptance criteria and quality gates for product features.\nEnsure testing activities support applicable financial services regulations and data protection requirements.\n EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required).EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nTotal Relevant Experience: 3-5 years\nFintech / Financial Services Experience: 2 + years testing software in fintech or a regulated environment preferred\nSKILLS & COMPETENCIES\n\nStrong manual and automated testing skills (e.g. Selenium, Postman, Cypress)\nKnowledge of SQL and database testing.\nExperience with API testing and test-management tools\nUnderstanding of Agile QA practices\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong attention to detail and defect-analysis skills\n\n REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS (NIGERIA)\nEnsures test coverage includes validation of PCI-DSS-relevant controls and NDPA-compliant data handling before release.\n PayZeep offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with numerous benefits:\nCompetitive Compensation.\n5-day workweek.\nWellness Programs.\nEmployee Training Programs.\nOpportunities for Growth and Development.\n.
