The role focuses on researching user needs, designing seamless customer journeys, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver user experiences that drive customer satisfaction, adoption, and business growth.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nConduct user research, usability testing, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and pain points.\nDesign end-to-end user experiences for web, mobile, payment, and financial service platforms.\nCreate user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.\nDevelop high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.\nEstablish and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable design components.\nOptimize user journeys to improve customer engagement, product adoption, and conversion rates.\nConduct usability testing and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve user experiences.\nEnsure consistency across all digital touchpoints, including mobile applications, web platforms, dashboards, and payment interfaces.\nTranslate business requirements, regulatory requirements, and user needs into practical design solutions.\nWork closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs\nAdvocate for customer-centric design thinking across product development initiatives.\nMaintain design documentation, user research findings, and prototype libraries.\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required).\nEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nTotal Relevant Experience: 3-5 years\nFintech / Financial Services Experience: 2 + years supporting infrastructure for fintech, banking or transaction-processing systems preferred\nSKILLS & COMPETENCIES\nProficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.\nStrong knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies.\nExperience designing responsive web and mobile applications.\nAbility to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and customer journey maps.\nUnderstanding of product development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.\nAbility to interpret data and customer feedback to drive design decisions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and documentation abilities.\nREGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS (NIGERIA)\nEnsures product and interface designs comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and applicable customer privacy requirements.\nSupports compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and relevant data security requirements.\n Ensures adherence to AML/CFT, KYC, consumer protection, and fraud prevention requirements\nPaymi Solutions offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with numerous benefits:\nCompetitive Compensation.\n5-day workweek.\nWellness Programs.\nEmployee Training Programs.\nOpportunities for Growth and Development.\n.
