This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong background in injection moulding and a passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\nYou will be part of a high-performing team operating state-of-the-art moulding and automation equipment to produce components that meet the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will bring both technical expertise and a commitment to safety, collaboration, and performance excellence.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nProduction Operations\nSet up, operate, and monitor injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.\n\nPerform in-process quality checks and adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle times) to ensure consistent output.\n\nConduct regular equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime.\n\nTroubleshoot production and machine-related issues efficiently.\n\nQuality & Compliance\nInspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, cosmetic appearance, and material performance.\n\nMaintain accurate production and quality documentation.\n\nSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions for any product non-conformances.\n\nEnsure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality protocols.\n\nSafety & Maintenance\nAdhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.\n\nKeep work areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.\n\nCarry out preventive maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.\n\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with production supervisors, quality personnel, and maintenance teams to meet daily output targets.\n\nCommunicate clearly on production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities.\n\nTake part in continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and technical training.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum 2 years of experience operating or maintaining injection moulding machinery.\n\nFamiliarity with moulding processes, materials, and troubleshooting techniques.\n\nStrong working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.\n\nAbility to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.\n\nWillingness and flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.\n\nDesirable Qualifications:\nTechnical certification in Plastics Engineering, Toolmaking, or Manufacturing Technology.\n\nExperience with Engel, Arburg, Battenfeld, or Sumitomo Demag machinery.\n\nExposure to robotic systems, automation, and lean manufacturing environments.\n\nPrevious work experience in a medical device, plastics, or high-precision manufacturing setting.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\nCompetitive hourly rate or salary depending on experience\n\nTraining and development on modern injection moulding technologies\n\nOpportunity to work with advanced robotics and automation systems\n\nLong-term progression within a quality-focused, stable company\n\nImmediate interviews available for suitable candidates.\nNote: By applying for this position, you may also be considered by Pale Blue Dot® Recruitment for other relevant opportunities.\nPale Blue Dot® Recruitment -
