Under the guidance of the CAD Manager and senior team members, the Design Drafter Intern will learn to perform basic drafting using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, contribute to engineering projects, and gain valuable industry skills. This role is focused on learning, development, and applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges.\nMajor Areas of Accountability\nPromotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members.\nAssist the Design Drafting department by creating and updating drawings based on Engineering Change Order( ECOs).\nLearn and utilize PCB’s Standard CAD practices and tools, primarily Autodesk Inventor and occasionally AutoCAD.\nSupport Engineering with minor design projects as instructed by the CAD Manager.\nReview your own work for accuracy and completeness before submission.\nMaintain a work log via a drafting database to track assignments and progress.\nPerform other related duties as assigned by the CAD Manager to support the team and enhance your learning experience.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nCurrently enrolled in and actively pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in a relevant field such as Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology.\nOther:\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.\nFamiliarity with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is required.\nTravel:\nNone\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation:\nExperience\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD\nPhysical Demands (U.S. only)\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
