The Modal Shop also provides all full-time team members with 100% employer paid medical premiums for you and your family.\nThe Logistics Associate I follows established procedures, and performs tasks related to packaging and shipment of product to ensure the quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments.\nAdditional Duties:\nEnsures the quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments to align with TMS commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction. \nPreparing released shipments and completing shipping operations, using Syteline/Pacejet software.\nPreparing accurate and complete Customs paperwork and AES filings.\nPackaging product for shipment; including boxing and crating of goods.\nProcessing inventory transfer requests as related to shipping demand, following inventory procedures.\nArranging for shipping via software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) for small packages.\nContacting freight carriers to arrange for pickup of LTL freight.\nContacting Customer Account Representative regarding product exceptions, errors in paperwork or other discrepancies that may affect the timely and accurate delivery of product to the customer.\nEnsuring that all shipments are correct and complete prior to performing end-of-day closing tasks.\nMaintaining stocking levels of all necessary shipping supplies.\nMaintaining cleanliness of logistics area: trash removal, sweep, sort, and organize areas associated with production and logistics.\nPerforming other related duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the team.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.\nExperience: Three months minimum related work experience.
