The Modal Shop also provides all full-time team members with 100% employer paid medical premiums for you and your family.\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer with The Modal Shop, you will apply your education, experience and expertise in the launch of new product designs into manufacturing, to make process improvements and to solve manufacturing problems.\nAdditional Duties:\nInterprets mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols.\n\nConducts prototype manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions.\n\nWorks in close collaboration with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support of existing products.\n\nDevelops and designs basic tools and fixtures, researches and specifies manufacturing equipment and systems.\n\nCreates and maintains accurate mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation.\n\nProvides documentation on assembly methods and test procedures.\n\nConducts failure analyses to resolve manufacturability or quality issues.\n\nProvides technical assistance in matters of products, materials, equipment and processes.\n\nIdentify and implement efficiency improvements related for design for manufacturability and product assembly.\n\nPerform other related duties as required.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.\nExperience: Internship, Co-Op or equivalent industry experience.
