# Manufacturing Engineer I

Primary Objective: Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001. The Manufacturing Engineer I is responsible for applying their education, experience and expertise in the launch of new product designs into manufacturing, to make process improvements and to solve manufacturing problems. Major Areas of Accountability Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members. Interprets mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols. Conducts prototype manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions. Works in close collaboration with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support of existing products. Develops and designs basic tools and fixtures, researches and specifies manufacturing equipment and systems. Creates and maintains accurate mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation. Provides documentation on assembly methods and test procedures.
