This position will also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to plans while preforming daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance.\nWhat You Will Do\nDisassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.\nRepair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.\nRepair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.\nExamine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.\nReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.\nObserve and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.\nOperate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.\nClean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.\nAnalyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.\nRecord repairs and maintenance performed.\nStudy blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.\nRecord parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.\nCut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble new equipment.\nDemonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.\nEnter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. \nContributes to team effort by contributing to related organizational projects as needed\nWork effectively with peers, departmental managers to ensure an effective flow of communication, materials, and resources \nPromote and assure the execution of the PCCA values, culture and quality\nEnsure that department objectives are in line with corporate objectives\nComplies with all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations when discarding non-hazardous and hazardous waste\nComplies with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements\nWho You Are\nGED or High School Diploma \n5 years or more of experience in mechanical environment\nExperience managing results and performance through metrics and process improvement\nPreferred: EPA Section 608 Certification, HVAC Excellence Certification, OSHA Certification, Certified Water Professional\nPhysical Requirements\nMaintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.\nBending legs downward and forward by bending leg and spine.\nMoving about on foot to accomplish task, particularly for long distances. \nUsing upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. \nLifting up to 50 pounds\nExerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects.\nRaising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving object horizontally from position to position.\nStanding, particularly for sustained periods of time.\nSubstantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner. \nUsing upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.\nAscending or descending stairs, ramps, ladders, scaffolding, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms\nWho We Are\nPCCA helps pharmacists and prescribers create personalized medicine that makes a difference in patients’ lives.
