This specialized engineering group develops and implements innovative structural precast concrete systems and solutions.\nIn this role, you will perform prototyping, testing, design of structural components, and development of fabrication and construction processes. Additionally, you will prepare drawings, utilize CAM and CAD software, prepare engineering packages, write testing reports, and compile field notes. These tasks will be in support of the engineering novel commercial and industrial building projects.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nAll employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.\nDaily:\nDesign test setups and develop clear written procedures.\nDesign structural components and their connections.\nConfer with Project Lead about project updates and findings\nDevelop 3D and 2D models for testing, mockups, and CAM\nConstruct and test prototypes made from a variety of materials (concrete, wood, etc)\nWrite reports detailing test results\nAs Needed:\nPerform routine QC checks in plant or field to ensure product conforms to standards\nDevelop, maintain, and support testing facilities.\nPerform project site support by travelling to construction sites.
