This is a Monday to Friday position, 100% on-site.\nSummary of Role:\nIn this position you will play a key role in relation to the maintenance and presentation of facility equipment and buildings. Through general building repairs and preventive maintenance.\nEnsure facility is prepared, presented, and maintained to acceptable Pharmaceutical GMP and general housekeeping standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure safe work practices are being followed at all times, report any near misses immediately to the EHS Department\nTypical duties but not limited to the following. Conducting minor plumbing, carpentry, building fabric, gardening, small building works and painting repairs. Fit internal and external signage Ceiling tile repairs/ replacement, snagging works, Maintain and upkeep of PCI carparks, Waste Control, respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize urgent issues. Office / furniture / equipment moving. \nPerform general maintenance tasks, Liase and support site Contract providers when required: Utilities, Security, Cleaning, Pest Control, Landscaping, Fire Protection, Waste handling and general maintenance.\nTo be familiar with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Work Procedures for the repair and maintenance of relevant facility equipment.\nTo maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and GMP during maintenance work.\nTo always maintain your work areas in an organised and tidy condition. Correct storage of tools and parts.\nTo adhere to all company and legislative health, safety, and environmental requirements.\nTo participate in all training and assessment activities related to the position, e.g. GMP training, equipment technical training, Health & Safety requirements etc.\nAny other duties as assigned by the Engineering Director / Facilities Manager or Facilities Engineer.\nEnsure safe work practices are being always followed, report any near misses immediately to the H&S Department.\nConduct various other additional tasks that may be required from time to time in accordance with the overall goal of the company.\nKnowledge / Skills & Experience:\nEssential\nLeaving Cert or equivalent.\nMust be proficient with basic IT packages. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.\nPrevious experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.\nGeneral Building skills with basic facilities experience.\nBasic knowledge of plumbing, landscaping, painting, and carpentry work. Ability to use hand and \nPower tools safely.\nMust be comfortable working at heights and have MEWP experience or certification.\nBe able to work on own initiative.\nMindfulness and pride in maintaining a well-kept indoor and outdoor environment.\nAbility to fault finding and problem-solve.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\n5-10 years’ experience working in building or construction industry.\nDesirable\nForklift Training & Certification\nMEWP Training & Certification\nGMP or FME Experience\nJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
