This role supports key HR functions in partnership with Global COE’s and other HR Mangers, such as talent management, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. The HR Manager will work closely with operations leadership to ensure that HR strategies support business objectives, enhance productivity, and help cultivate a positive workplace culture that aligns with operational needs and long-term success.\nKey Responsibilities:\nHR Leadership & Support Implement HR strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, and performance goals.\nOperational Partnership Work alongside Site Leadership to improve employee engagement, enhance productivity, and support organizational development, ensuring HR initiatives meet business needs.\nTalent Management In partnership with PCI’s HR Centers of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and HR Operations, manage aspects of the talent lifecycle, including recruitment, employee development, and internal mobility. Support workforce planning to ensure talent is appropriately matched to business needs.\nCulture & Engagement Champion the creation of a high-performance culture by focusing on employee engagement, equity and inclusion, as well as well-being programs that contribute to a supportive work environment in partnership with Global Benefits.\nCompliance & Governance Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations. Promote ethical practices across all HR functions and maintain a strong focus on compliance across multiple jurisdictions.\nChange Management Assist in managing HR components of organizational change, such as restructuring, new site openings, or changes in business strategy. Provide support to operations during transitions to maintain focus and stability.\nHR Team Support Support HR teams with talent development, collaboration, and performance improvement efforts. Foster a team-oriented culture focused on continuous growth and accountability.\nMetrics & Insights Track and analyse HR metrics such as retention, turnover, and employee satisfaction. Support data-driven decision-making to improve HR effectiveness and contribute to workforce planning.\nCollaboration with Leadership Partner with leadership to influence decisions impacting HR strategies and overall business performance. Offer HR insights and recommendations that support operational excellence.\n ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Contribute to ESG initiatives by supporting HR practices that align with the company's sustainability and social responsibility goals. Assist in ESG training and reporting efforts.\nLabor Relations\nPartner with operations and union leadership to maintain productive labor-management relationships.\nInterpret and administer collective bargaining agreements in a fair and consistent manner.\nProvide guidance on contract provisions, work rules, and labor practices.\nSupport grievance administration, dispute resolution, and labor-management meetings.\nAssist with collective bargaining preparation and implementation of negotiated agreements.\nPromote a collaborative work environment while balancing employee, union, and business needs.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or at least 5 years of progressive HR experience in a life science, manufacturing or industrial setting.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and the dynamics of an hourly workforce.\nProven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.\nAbility to collaborate with leadership and contribute to HR decision-making processes.\nExperience in managing change, supporting HR projects, and assisting with organizational design.\nProficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and workforce analytics.\nStrong labor relations and/or employee relations experience.\nWorking knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and employment law.\nDemonstrated success coaching leaders and influencing business decisions.\nStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nWorking Conditions:\nOn-site presence required.\nOccasional travel may be required to support multi-site operations or leadership meetings.\nFlexibility to address business needs across time zones and shifts.\nJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
