Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.\nPosition Title: Material Handler II - Inventory Control\nLocation: Bedford, New Hampshire\nDepartment: Materials\nReporting To: Manager, Operations\nResponsible For (Staff): No\nAssists in the day to day activities relating to inventory control functions supporting Pharmaceutical fill/finish Operations. Responsibilities include receiving materials, creating and updating log sheets and inventory cards, shipping activities, and all inventory movement functions including updating databases, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation. This position will also prepare SOP specific inventory kits supporting production activities.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLoads and/or unloads material between dock and truck with hand truck where applicable. Moves materials between statuses and locations within the plants\nProcesses delivered materials according to procedure placing an added immediacy on temperature sensitive receipts. Delivers received shipments accordingly\nPrepares work-in-process (WIP) and lot specific kits supporting Manufacturing\nProcesses manufacturing and shipping supplies as outlined in procedures\nPerforms material sampling as required\nRecords and maintains accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing components; reports on inventory\nResearches inventory discrepancies and reports findings\nEnsures proper storage, segregation and area labeling of raw material storage areas\nProcesses expired and nonconforming materials to a restricted area and place on-hold\nAttends semi-annual DOT and IATA training as required\nConducts materials handling operations in strict accordance with written SOPs\nPerforms cycle counts, expiration date maintenance and maintains all material storage locations\nAssures that operations are conducted in compliance with strict cGMP procedures\nPerforms other duties as required\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nRequired:\nEDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE -\n5 plus years of experience\nAbility to follow instructions and established procedures\nAbility to prioritize, to make good decisions and multi-task. \nGood written and oral communication skills are essential\nSelf-motivator, reliable, follows instructions and can perform duties with minimal guidance\nWilling to put team first\nMust understand cGMP requirements and strict adherence to safety policies and practices\nAbility to use Microsoft Suite. \nStrong commitment to excellence and quality with a positive working attitude\nValid drivers’ license\nPreferred:\nAPICS coursework or certification a plus\nPrevious DOT and IATA training preferred\nERP software experience is a plus\nJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
