Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nPosition Title: Materials Handler I\nLocation: Bedford, NH\nDepartment: Materials - Operations\nReporting To: Manager - Materials\nResponsible For (Staff): No\nThe Materials Handler I assists in the day-to-day activities relating to inventory control functions supporting pharmaceutical fill/finish operations. The main responsibility of this position is to assist with all aspects of logistics such as receiving, shipping, data entry, inventory control, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation as needed. Additional responsibilities include creating and updating log sheets and inventory cards, shipping activities, and all inventory movement functions including updating databases, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLoads and/or unloads material between dock and truck with hand truck where applicable. Moves materials between statuses and locations within the plants\nProcesses delivered materials according to procedure placing an added immediacy on temperature sensitive receipts. Delivers received shipments accordingly\nPrepares work-in-process (WIP) and lot specific kits supporting Manufacturing\nProcesses manufacturing and shipping supplies as outlined in procedures\nRecords and maintains accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing components. Reports on inventory\nAttends semi-annual DOT and IATA training as required\nConducts materials handling operations in strict accordance with written SOPs\nPerforms cycle counts, expiration date maintenance and maintains all material storage locations\nAssures that operations are conducted in compliance with strict cGMP procedures\nCompletes chain of custody forms and updates all receiving logs\nIssues lot numbers to incoming materials per established procedure\nCompletes QC test requests for sampling and testing of raw materials\nPerforms other duties as required\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nRequired:\nMinimum of 1 year’s experience\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nHigh School or Equivalency Basic math and computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Suite\nGood written and oral communication skills\nAbility to follow instructions and established procedures\nAbility to prioritize, to ensure the key actions are followed through\nPreferred:\nStrong commitment to excellence and quality with a positive working attitude\nKnowledge of ERP software is most helpful\nAPICS coursework or certification helpful, but not required\nStrong initiative , reliable, follows instructions both verbal and written\nTeam oriented with good interpersonal skills\nJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
