Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.\nJob Title: ASRS Operator\nDepartment/Group: Warehouse\nLocation: Philadelphia\n\nSummary of Objective:\nTo monitor the operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) Warehouse and process material orders for Production and Shipping.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties\nmay be assigned.\nResponsible for the proper operation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).\nMaintain material flow both in and out of the ASRS which includes determining priorities and determining which tasks get sent out in which order to which crane if required.\n Resolve all crane faults as necessary.\nResponsible for notifying the Supervisor in the event of inventory inaccuracies or crane operational issues.\nEnsure that all tasks that are aborted are properly processed.\nResolve all conveyor backups HC, RC, etc. when applicable.\nProcess Production material requests through JD Edwards.\n Perform inventory lookups/run FEFO reports in JDE and order material from the high-rise or communicate to supervisor or warehousers material requests for non-high rise stored material.\nDirect warehousers as necessary in the absence of the warehouse supervisor.\nPerform inventory transfers and over-rides as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy and flow of material to Production.\nFollow all warehouse safety rules and procedures.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT:\nHigh School Graduate\nEXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT:\n1-2 years of experience in a production or warehouse environment.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nBasic math and computer competency\nCOMPUTER SKILLS:\nKnowledge of JDE system\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nKnowledge of JDE system\nBasic math and computer competency\nCapability to maintain focus and appropriate demeanor in a fast-paced environment.\nGood interpersonal communication\n Capability to organize and manage job priorities.\n Experience in the design, implementation, and validation of Quality Management System (QMS) software and/or QMS remediation projects.
