Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.\nPosition Title: Warehouse Shipping Coordinator\nLocation: Assembly Drive, Rockford\nDepartment: Warehouse\nShift: 2nd Shift\nReporting To: Supervisor, Warehouse\nResponsible For (Staff): None\nThe primary function of this position is to coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials, facilitate PCI Rockford waste management system, schedule maintenance on forklifts, and track warehouse related metrics.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.\nCoordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.\nMaintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.\nAct as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments in matters pertaining to transportation and logistics.\nCoordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables. Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance on forklifts.\nGather and track warehouse related metrics.\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure the proper segregation of recyclables.\nAct as a liaison between Receiving and Planning to ensure components are received as necessary to keep with the production schedule.\nAssist in the duties of “Training” for the Warehouse department.\nAssist in writing or updating departmental work practices and company SOP’s. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.\nThis position may require overtime and/or weekend work.\nKnowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. \nAttendance to work is an essential function of this position.\nQualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.\nIntermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nPreferred:\nAbility to work independently and/or as part of a team.\nAbility to follow instructions and respond to management direction.\nAbility to display original thinking and creativity.\nAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.\nHigh School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.\nThe hiring rate for this position is $19.96-$22.46 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
