You'll set technical directions, grow your engineers, and keep the team's work tightly aligned with what the business needs; while staying close enough to the code to earn your team's trust.\nIn this role, you will:\n Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. This involves setting project timelines,allocatingresources, and tracking progress against milestones.\nProvide technical guidance andexpertiseto the development team, helping to resolve complex technical issues and ensuring that the team follows best practices and coding standards.\nChampioning AI Engineering by encouraging the team to inject AI across the entire SDLC to drive efficiency gains.\nImproving system performance and reliabilityand conducting code reviews andmakingtechnical contributions. \nAllocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and time, to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.\nIdentifypotential risks and challenges in software development projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.\nContinuously assess and improve software development processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.\nEnsure that software development activitiescomply withrelevant regulations, standards, and security protocols.\nEnsure that software products meet quality standards and customer requirements by implementing rigorous testing procedures and quality assurance processes.\nCommunicate with stakeholders, including clients, executives, and other departments, to understand requirements, provide updates on project status, and manage expectations.\nStay informed aboutnew technologies, tools, and trends in software development, and assess their potential impact on current and future projects.\nAddress conflicts and disagreements within the development team or with other stakeholders in a constructive andtimelymanner.\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, ensuring they have the resources, support, and direction needed to meet project goals.\nFoster a collaborative and communicative environment within the development team and across other departments such as product management, quality assurance, and operations.\nEvaluate the performance of team members, provide feedback, and implement strategies for professional development and improvement.\nRecruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff. \nWhat You’ll Need to Join Our Team\nBachelor’s degree in computer scienceor related field or equivalent work experience. \n3+ years in leadershiprole.\n7+ years of engineering experience.\n8+ years of leading the definition and development ofmulti-tierweb services experience.\nKnowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networksdevelopment life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.\nProvenexperience withC#, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.\nProvenexperience with Azure cloud architecture (App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL, and related services).\nProven experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus).\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g.,Claude Code).\nWhy Work For Us\nCompetitive Compensation from $170,000-180,000 USD;
