This role provides an opportunity to build technical expertise in POS systems, payment processing, and integrations while developing customer-facing and consultative selling skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the pre-sales process by gathering customer requirements and helping identify appropriate technical solutions.\nAssist with customer discovery sessions to understand business needs, technical requirements, and potential solution opportunities.\nPrepare and deliver standard product demonstrations, with guidance on more complex customer scenarios.\nSupport the development of technical proposals, RFP responses, and other sales materials.\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot demonstration environments to ensure successful customer presentations.\nDevelop knowledge of PDI's POS solutions, payment processing capabilities, integrations, and related technologies.\nPartner with Sales and experienced Solutions Engineers to address customer questions and communicate product capabilities.\nAssist with documenting customer requirements, technical configurations, and proposed solutions.\nCollaborate with Product and Implementation teams to understand solution capabilities, limitations, and customer feedback.\nContribute to internal documentation, demonstration scripts, and knowledge-sharing resources to support team effectiveness.\nQualifications\n0-3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, technical support, systems engineering, or a related field.\nFoundational knowledge of POS systems, payment processing, software applications, or related technologies preferred.\nBasic understanding of system integrations, APIs, and technical troubleshooting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies.\nEffective communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.\nAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customer-facing activities.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with CRM systems, demonstration environments, or technical documentation tools preferred.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
