The Driver is responsible for the delivery of finished product, parts and materials to customer locations.\nAdhere to PDM’s Core Values:\nRelationship Building: We foster long-term positive relationships with fellow employee-owners, external partners and our communities.\nAccountability: We consistently demonstrate a high level of personal accountability. \nUrgency: We operate with a sense of urgency.\nInnovation: We embrace growth and change.\nCreate Return on Efforts: We create positive results on all our efforts.\nPillars: 1) Safety, 2) Quality, 3) Happiness, 4) Performance\nAreas of Accountability:\nLearn & understand company safety policies and procedures and promote compliance.\nFocus on increasing productivity and lowering material cost while maintaining expected levels of quality & communication with superiors.\nAssist in the transformation of the shop floor culture to one of Continuous Improvement and Accountability. \nDemonstrate reliability through exceptional attendance.\nEmbrace and enhance a positive culture.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nMaintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.\nLocates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.\nPrepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.\nDocuments product shipment by recording units shipped.\nMaintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.\nMaintains in-process inventory\nKitting materials for fabrication assemblies\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nIdentify and accurately pre-package loads utilizing the shipping report\nLoad and secure materials on trailers for shipment\nDeliver loads to job sites utilizing a truck and gooseneck trailer\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nEducation: Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate High school diploma/GED required\nKnowledge and Skills: Strong attention to detail Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record - MVR check is required\nCDL - preferred\nFork truck certified- preferred\nTelescoping fork truck certified - preferred\nAbility to be self-motivated and works well independently\nGood organizational skills\nSelf-motivated\nPrevious Experience: 1+ years’ inventory management experience\nPhysical: Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours.
