As a systems engineering intern, you will work closely with expert engineers on technically challenging projects to help research, implementation, and software engineering teams take their ideas from inception to production.\nDepending on the specific project, you may:\nFace problems that don't have well-defined solutions - creativity will be essential to come up with the best possible answers, including ones that explore new technologies \nLearn about the infrastructure needed to support a quantitative trading business\nGain experience with multicast market data distribution\nAnalyze the latency impact of network buffering\nAutomate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure, including compute, services, and storage\nDevelop GitOps-driven configuration management for consistent global deployments at scale\nAdd core components to our cloud-based Kubernetes infrastructure\nIdeal candidates have the following knowledge and/or wish to learn more about: \nUsing software and automation to solve problems\nDistributed computing, including hybrid cloud architectures\nOperating Systems, including low-level performance tuning and analysis\nGlobal hybrid networking, including automated configuration and packet analysis\nPetascale storage systems\nBelow is a list of skills and experiences we think are relevant.
